Terms of Use for Printables (Use of Canva)

Printable Content Terms and Conditions: Use of Canva

IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE PURCHASING:

Printables posted in my shop are made using free and pro elements on Canva. You will need a Canva account to access and make changes to the template. (If you are new to Canva, you can try a 30 day free trial to access your downloads.)

What does this mean?

Since I am selling my design via template links, this allows you, the buyer, to edit the design from your end on the Canva platform.

Once you download the design, you will already be bound by the Canva Content License Agreement.

This means that you are now the owner of the design since you downloaded the design into your own account.

With this, you can now sell it as a digital file or a template link to your buyers as long as you've made edits that would make the design your own creation. You may share the design as a digital file (PDF, JPG, etc.) as long as the buyer is not able to edit the design and will only be for the buyer's personal use. You can use this for personal use, as an opt-in or lead magnet to gain email subscribers, or use it in related content to provide value to existing posts.

Here's a response directly from Canva support:

What edits do I need to make to make it my own creation?

Edits can include changing the text, font, and/or colors, adding/removing/swapping out elements, adding photos, videos or backgrounds, etc.
